My personal record is a week and how did I do it? Dry shampoo. My hair is not naturally oily so maybe that's why I've been able to hold out for so long, but the dry shampoo helps suck the small amount of oil on my roots and makes my hair smell and feel amazing!  Just spray it at a distance on your roots and let it sit for about one minute. Then either brush or use your fingertips to rub the excess product off your hair. I can definitely see what all the fuss is about now.

Be Vigilant On Stain Control

Having fantasy colored hair is awesome, but let's get real, it can be a real pain when it comes to sheets and towels. This is especially true when you're fresh out of the salon with that color you always wanted only to go to bed that night and find the sheets covered in your hair color. It also happens when you decide to wash your hair and you stain your towels. It can be frustrating but it's all a part of having that look for the holidays! You want to look gorgeous but also want to be prepared. I like to stick to white sheets and towels so I can then easily bleach them when it's laundry day.
